Commando is looking for a critical thinker to professionalize our planning and business analysis efforts. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Production, Sales and Marketing teams to review, analyze, and evaluate our business plans.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

    • Develop a best in class Sales and Operational Planning system from sales forecast creation and monitoring up through production planning
    • Create sales forecasts in collaboration with key sales personnel utilizing data from our forecasting program; develop coordinated top down and bottom up versions so all parts of organization are aligned
    • Develop strategies to maximize sales and margin strategy to deliver in season and long term plans
    • Collaborate with sales and production leadership to balance lowering inventory investment while maximizing product availability
    • Assist in driving sales at all channels through efficient reporting and analysis
    • Create and communicate growth plans for key accounts
    • Review & analyze selling and retailer profitability reports, making recommendations to management and sales teams
    • Responsible for budgeting and planning with majors
    • Collaborate with production to ensure we have appropriate capacity and visibility on investments
    • Analyze inventory by key performance attributes to advise on “style outs”
    • Become a super user of our ERP, forecasting package and related IT/data assets

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:


    • Business analysis, planning and/or S&OP experience
    • Strong organization and analytical skills
    • Strong Excel fluency
    • Maturity and ability to work well with other groups at commando
    • Minimal travel required
