Commando is looking for a Sales Director to provide hands on strategic & tactical leadership to the sales team.  The Sales Director will maximize sales growth by utilizing both analytical skills and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and execute on plans.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop sales strategy to meet company growth targets
  • Own objectives setting and coaching of sales team
  • Ensure successful planning of tradeshows and market
  • Solidify and grow long-term relationships with commando accounts
  • Oversee the account managers’ work with buying teams to optimize assortment and maximize opportunity
  • Work to improve profitability, minimizing markdowns and fashion liability at retail
  • Identify new market and category opportunities while staying abreast of competitive trends
  • Play key role in merchandise planning and future product development
  • Partner with production on forecast for new products
  • Work to improve reporting and KPIs for sales team
  • Act as sales liaison to other departments
  • Evolve incentive plan for sales team
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience 
  • Strong organizational, managerial, and analytical skills
  • Up to 30% travel
  • Must be driven and passionate about the brand
