Overall Responsibility:  Providing hands on strategic & tactical leadership to the sales team.  Maximizing sales growth by utilizing strong analytical skills with the ability to build a strong rapport within department.

Supervision Received:  This position reports to the CSO.

Supervision Exercised:  This position supervises the sales team, the Customer Service Representative and commando’s relationship with our outside boutique rep(s).

Key Areas of Responsibility:

    • Develop sales strategy to deliver year over year growth
    • Develop incentive plan for sales teams
    • Manage tradeshow planning and execution
    • Maintain industry knowledge
    • Manage the sale of off-price merchandise, maximizing both sell through and margin contribution
    • Assist with forecasting
    • Lead sales team to demonstrate continual growth
    • Create and communicate growth plan for future seasons  
    • Oversee the teams’ work with buy teams to optimize replenishment and assortment
    • Review & analyze weekly selling reports, making recommendation to management and sales teams
    • Communicate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Follow all ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by the company and the department
  • Adhere to commando’s inventory control procedures

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • 5 plus years of relevant experience  
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Buyer experience preferred
  • Maturity and ability to work independently
  • Occasional travel required
  • Must be driven and passionate about the brand
