Senior Financial Analyst


Commando is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our busy Finance team! The Senior Financial Analyst manages inventory, prepaid, and AP aging reconciliation. Responsible for inventory adjustments and transfer review. Provides high-level analytical support to senior leadership and assists the Finance team with various duties.



Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders
  • Reviews complex financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures for efficient workflow and conformity with accounting principles
  • Analyzes and reviews proposals for any system related to financial accounting methods, policies, and procedures; recommends improvements
  • Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making
  • Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders
  • Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends
  • Inventory and pre-paid deposits reconciliation
  • Review inventory adjustments and transfer transactions for accuracy
  • Manage off-price and seasonal inventory reserves
  • Payroll Accrual – maintain Payroll Dashboard monthly
  • Prepaid  Deposits reconciliation
  • AP Aging Reconciliation
  • Other financial/analytical projects/tasks as assigned  


Knowledge & Skill Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years equivalent experience (apparel manufacturing a plus)
  • Proficient in accounting principles, understand finance concepts and cash management
  • Proficiency with computers, especially excel, experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL is a plus
  • Strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with confidential material and act with discretion
  • Maturity and ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
