Marketing Brand Manager

Overall Responsibility: Support brand marketing efforts  

Supervision exercised: This position supervises the Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designers

 Supervision received: This position reports to the Chief Marketing & Sales Officer

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist with the planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of marketing campaigns
  • Oversee direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, including email, retargeting, SEO, social media, etc.
  • Manager direct to consumer website
  • Analyze the marketplace and competitor websites and recommend strategies for enhancing digital marketing efforts
  • Work closely with the Graphic Design team to deliver impactful marketing and sales materials
  • Develop briefs for creative projects (e.g., primary/secondary packaging, label copy, hard/soft POS, website, advertising, etc.) and provide feedback on creative output to ensure it supports brand strategy
  • Work closely with Public Relations to support media and influencer outreach
  • Own the seasonal product naming process for all categories
  • Provide support for Sales in preparing for Market on a quarterly basis
  • Conduct brand, segment, and category analysis to evaluate performance against business objectives, identify competitive threats, and highlight product strengths/weaknesses to track performance of the brand and inform sales and marketing team decisions
  • Possess strong project coordination and management skills
  • Interact with all levels of management and team members to ensure good communication 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant professional experience in e-commerce / digital marketing, preferably with experience in email marketing and/or experience working in a web platform
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to react to shifting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to build relationships to achieve team goals
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
