Love love this hipster but the butter and lace fabric is not durable. Ripped along the hip seam on first wear. I sewed the seam and just ripped again. Had to throw away. 😔

I used to purchase only the Double Take hipster/boy short until they discontinued that design and the only other one available was this Butter+Lace.
I purchased several pairs thinking they would fit the exact same but the crotch seam is in a very uncomfortable place instead of slightly more towards the back if that makes sense.
I had 4 pairs (out of 6) fall apart or start to rip at the hip seam within a month so I will not buy any more even this the initial fit is tight and secure and does not ride up so to speak.
Bring back the devious designs please!!!

Purchased multiple pieces of this item five months ago and two out of three of this style has come apart at all of the seams. I’m also a bit disappointed that the lining is synthetic and not cotton.

I really like the look of these hipsters - have had many Commando hipsters over the years and they have all been high quality and comfortable while still cute. But I really don’t like the thin tag sewn into the seam on the back of these. It’s irritating and if you cut it out you rip a hole in the seam. Not ideal. Please fix this design flaw, Commando!
