All fashion-lovers know that the first Monday in May is fashion's biggest night out. The Met Gala attracts the most stylish celebrities and cutting-edge fashion designers to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for an opening of The Costume Institute's latest exhibition. While we mere mortals don't have access to the exhibition until days later, we can access the red-carpet fabulousness in real-time (thank you Instagram). This year’s red carpet did not disappoint, and so many of our favorite stars were wearing commando. Karlie Kloss, Paris Jackson, Miranda Kerr, and Ruby Rose donned our classic thong. Chrissy Teigen paired her gorgeous gown with our high-rise thong while Thandie Newton opted for our classic control thong. Our favorite look of the night was seen on Bella Hadid. Her completely sheer look was paired with our classic black thong for a Met Gala after-party. Talk about a commando cameo!
