While commando is no stranger to the spotlight, we were absolutely thrilled to see the recent story penned by Sam Reed for The Hollywood Reporter titled “Commando Founder Kerry O'Brien Is the Woman Who Makes Nude Magazine Covers Possible.” The article’s title refers to the Vanity Fair cover featuring Serena Williams in nothing but our classic thong, as well as the first cover of Goop’s new quarterly magazine featuring Gwyneth Paltrow (also posing in nothing but our best-selling thong). Commando’s presence has now been solidified on runways, the red-carpet and magazine covers! The article expands into commando’s key role with all of these high-profile stylists, and founder Kerry O’Brien explains that the difference between underwear and ready-to-wear is shrinking, and that these days stylists and designers are styling their looks “from the underwear out.” Thank you to Sam Reed and The Hollywood Reporter for such a great article, follow the link to read in full.
