How long have you been in business?
I opened swing in 2013, the concept store by Doucette, with an intention to build wardrobes thoughtfully- with meaningful, well-constructed key wardrobe items made to last.
Why did you decide to carry commando at your boutique?
The commando mission is aligned with both of my brands, Doucette New York and Swing- they inherently value the importance of creating sustainable garments that last, fair wages, and stateside manufacturing.
What is your favorite commando style?
A perfect slip (hello, seamless!) that I could sleep in, travel with, ( zero wrinkle-action), and even toss on with sandals and a white tee if in a pinch.
Fun fact:
We Swing girls wear at least one commando item on the daily! I would guess that most of our customers do as well.
How long have you been in business?
I opened my doors in April 2006, so exactly 14 years ago.
What do you love about what you do?
One of my favorite things is helping customers find the right outfit that helps them feel confident and beautiful for any endeavor, whether it’s for a night on the town or a work presentation.
What is your favorite commando style?
My favorite Commando piece is the faux leather deep v bodysuit. I love it for its versatility, it goes with everything! Being able to wear a piece year-round is such a win-win in a seasonal city like Chicago!
How long have you been in business?
Our brick and mortar store opened November 2017 but we were online since 2005.
What do you love about commando?
We love helping women feel and look beautiful.
What is your favorite commando style?
We are in love with all things Butter! Joggers, Camis and undies.
How long have you been in business?
Funky Collective opened our boutique- studio in October 2018.
What do you love about what you do?
I love our boutique because it makes our customers feel good in such a gorgeous relaxed setting!
What is your favorite commando style?
My favorite style is the Faux Leather Legging! I love the way they look on me ( and everyone who wears them)! They are so comfortable and yet sexy at the same time.
How long have you been in business?
Our first store opened in February 1997 so we have been in business for a whopping 23 years!
What do you love about what you do?
We LOVE supporting women in every way. Our customers are becoming our friends and we feel we are bettering women's lives, one bra at a time.
What is your favorite commando style?
Very hard question to answer, If we absolutely had to pick - we’d have to pick 2! We LOVE the Classic Solid Thong for the breathable fabric and because it doesn't dig into the skin or show panty lines. A close second would be the Classic Solid Girl Short, which we love because it's a cross between a panty and a boyshort, and it's sexy without being over the top.
How long have you been in business?
Our Boutique opened in 1982, and here we are 38 years later.
What do you love about commando?
We love the energy and warmth we have created over the years with our customers as well as the staff. We help to demystify the process of purchasing intimates and make all feel comfortable, relaxed and valued. We listen to our customer's needs and help them to find the best fit.
What is your favorite commando style?
We love the original classics. One of our favorites is the high rise brief. Love the fit, function, and the fact that there are no VPL’S.
How long have you been in business?

What do you love about what you do?
At Sylene, we are all about our client relations. Our clients become family, we see many generations come through our doors and that is what keeps us going. Customer service is our middle name, and that is what has kept our doors open. We are a destination, and we love that!
What is your favorite commando style?
Here at Sylene of Washington, we love all the Commando items, but a little bit more we love the fun print thongs!
How long have you been in business?
We opened on May 1, 2017 so it is almost our 3rd birthday!
What do you love about what you do?
We love what we do because not only are we a Boutique, we are also a Fitness Studio and offer Esthetics treatments. We always have people coming and going to and from classes and treatments. We love dressing our clients for all of their activities! We offer a wide variety of clothing from athleisure to everyday wear to outfits for their next big event!
What is your favorite commando style?
Our favorite Commando product is by far the seamless underwear. Whether we are dressing clients in a legging for class or a dress for their next vacation, we always recommend Commandos to go with!
How long have you been in business?
We opened the business in 2012 and opened our first storefront of our own in June 2019!
What do you love about what you do?
I am the owner and buyer, and also a mom of twins that are 3 and an 8 month old. Many of our customers are young mothers as well, it’s fun to buy for so many in our community that are in similar phases of life. So many customers (and neighbors) have become good friends through the shop!
What is your favorite commando style?
My favorite commando style is the faux leather leggings-they are perfect for our customers! SO many of our customers want to be comfortable but put together. Any of the commando leggings are perfect and our customers have LOVED the line ever since we started carrying the line in early 2020.
How long have you been in business?
I opened AM Luxe in 2015. My shop is located in downtown Bethlehem, Pa. It is, as our tagline states, “where urban elegance meets downtown charm!”
What do you love about what you do?
I love the opportunity to make women feel and look special with every visit.
What is your favorite commando style?
My favorite Commando looks are the skirts and dresses. I especially love this neoprene dress I’m wearing. I can wear this dress for day or evening, with or without a jacket and always know I’m prepared. for the many opportunities my day may bring.
How long have you been in business?
In 1987 we opened our store! My sister and I have been partners in crime since! We are Iconic in the Fashion Industry and proud to say that we have survived every bump in the road since 1987.
What do you love about what you do?
Making sure our guests get the best customer service at all times, and look their best, they are our family. These past 6 weeks have been very challenging and our guests have stepped up to the plate to make sure we survive.
What is your favorite commando style?
This is a hard one since we are all fans of everything commando! Personally, there is nothing that I do not wear myself. From the leggings and bodysuits, to my nighttime wear, and of course foundations. When I travel it is all that is in my suitcase.
