It’s safe to say NYFW looked a little different this year, but one thing is always consistent: creativity. We continue to see designers adapt to the new normal and create stunning visual presentations to show their collections. This season’s trends did not disappoint, including bright colors, patterned tights, and a new spin on an timeless classic: printed turtlenecks. Designers such as Ulla Johnson, Jason Wu, and Prabal Gurung showcased this updated basic to elevate their collections.
Season after season, designers have looked to Commando to provide seamless foundations and luxury-technical basics for their runway presentations; from our Classic Control underpinnings to our signature Faux Leather Leggings, so many Commando styles have walked the runways.
This season, on top of our usual partnerships, we had the honor to work with designer Prabal Gurung to create custom bodysuits and tights to compliment their collection. From sophisticated polka dots to vibrant florals, these custom pieces popped in the Prabal Gurung video presentation, an ode to New York City.

The Classic Printed Turtleneck Bodysuit is our take on this luxe layering piece. Designed with our soft, high-gauge, pilling-resistant microfiber blend, this turtleneck bodysuit is finished with our signature seamless raw-cut thong bottom to keep you smooth, and a chic thumbhole detail that is as fashionable as it is functional. This styling piece is a no brainer for any wardrobe; pair under a leather jacket with jeans and boots for a look that's effortlessly cool or dress it up with a slip dress and heels for a night out.
